Introduction:
Continental Valves Limited (CVL) was established in the year 1982 with an objective to produce and supply highly sophisticated Control Valves in technical collaboration with M/S. GULDE Regelarmaturen GmbH & Co. KG of erstwhile West Germany. The company initially started assembly and testing of valves in the year 1983 by importing components from its collaborators and started indigenous commercial production in January 1985 on full technology transfer. CVL has successfully supplied control valves for over three decades to various core sector industries in India as well as abroad.
Location:
The factory is located at Rozka Meo Industrial Estate, Sohna in Distt. Gurgaon (Haryana), which has been developed by HSIDC about 45 Km. from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi and 25 Km. from Gurgaon on Delhi – Alwar Road in the National Capital Region.
The factory is spread out in an area of 28000 sq. mtrs. with a covered area of approx. 4700 sq. mtrs. and has been constructed keeping expansion programme in mind.
Project:
The licensed capacity of the plant is 2400 Nos. of Valves per annum. During the currency of its technical collaboration, the company has assimilated complete technology to manufacture these highly sophisticated Control Valves and is capable of producing a wide range of Control Valves such as Globe, Butterfly, 3-way, Angle types, etc of international standards
Plant & Machinery :
The CVL factory is equipped with different types of Plant & Machineries, Tools & Accessories, Essenties and STEs both imported and indigenous to manufacture Control Valves that meet technical parameters and international quality standards. We have a modern Metrology Lab, Flow Control Laboratory and a full fledged Engineering & Design Department.
Product:
Control Valves are tailor made items, having sophistication in their design and manufacturing technology. CVL manufactures Control Valves in a wide range of models, sizes, materials and pressure classes and has also developed special purpose valves to meet requirements of its esteemed customers. Utmost importance is given in the selection and sizing of valves to perform acceptably for a long term.
CVL enjoys an excellent reputation in the market for dependable, reliable and trouble free performance and is consistently patronized by leading engineering consultants like EIL, BHEL, TOYO ENGG., TCE, FEDO, LLOYDS, H&G, UHDE, DAVY POWER GAS, IOCL, BPCL, GAIL, GNFC, etc. Over the years, CVL has developed reputed suppliers for various raw materials, Components and services. The company has also acquired ISO 9001:2000 certification from ABS.
Management:
The overall management of the company vests in the Board of Directors, comprising of eminent and experienced technologists, engineering professionals and industrialists. The day-to-day affairs of the company are looked after by a team of qualified, experienced and motivated Managerial staff, having a desire to excel and provide the customer, best value for money.
Reconditioning / Overhauling:
As the Control Valves are quite expensive, to reduce the replacement costs and to meet the needs of the user industries, CVL has established a separate department for reconditioning/overhauling of Control Valves of different types and makes. It also undertakes Annual Maintenance Contract for preventive/breakdown maintenance of Control Valves and Actuators. This department is manned by highly skilled, dedicated and experienced staff. Since adequate facilities are available in-house for design as well as the manufacture of required spares and testing of reconditioned valves, these valves will perform as good as new valves. Necessary test certificates are also provided for reconditioned/serviced valves.
